Hi, I’m Amanda

Researcher, Strategist, Connecter of Dots

Over the past 15 years, I’ve specialised in researching and communicating UK social issues, helping organisations better understand the people they serve and creating pathways for citizens to become agents of change.

With an MSc in Sociology of Contemporary Inequalities and a BA in Communications, I’m fortunate to apply these disciplines to my daily work, developing new campaigns, services and programmes in the health, wellbeing and social equity space.

I believe a healthy society is a great foundation for improving lots of other issues, that feeling good shouldn’t be a luxury for the few.

When not exploring systems-change, I’m also working at the individual level. I’m particularly passionate about tools for mental wellbeing, and recently trained as a meditation teacher, fascinated by where our collective attention spans are heading (don’t check my screen time)—and whether we’re being kind enough to ourselves and each other.

This interest in compassion and ‘how’ we work led me to start Radical Softer, a newsletter exploring softer methods for creating radical change.

Outside of work, you’ll probably find me in Hackney or Norfolk, with my favourite people, a massive coffee in hand or dancing to disco.

I’m a people-person and always up for a chat. Do say hello!
